Direct Broadcast Layer Specifications

Direct Remote ID broadcasts unencrypted periodic messages containing unique serial number (ANSI/CTA-2063-A), latitude, longitude, geodetic altitude, velocity vector, and pilot ground station coordinates at a minimum rate of 1 Hz over Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi Beacon frames.

Network Remote ID pushes identical telemetry to certified UAS Service Suppliers (USS) via secure WebSockets and cellular connections, allowing law enforcement and air traffic managers to correlate visual sightings with approved flight authorizations.
